The 6-jaw power chuck design incorporates a counter-centrifugal mechanism that allows the chuck to rotate at higher speeds with minimal jaw force loss. Coupled with the ability to use high pressure and low pressure, optimal roundness can be achieved for thin-walled parts that are easily deformed with normal 3-jaw style chucks.
